I'm a performance artist whose practice integrates visual art, music, and embodied presence.
I create performances where you watch someone be fully, uncomfortably real.
Brittany Stephenson is a Dallas-based vocalist and multimedia artist blending folk storytelling with contemporary themes. Raised in a West Texas musical family, she performed extensively as vocalist for The Coverlets at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, along with the Smithsonian and Metropolitan Museum (2013-2021). Now she creates performance art pieces that witness the weight and electricity of being human.
