BB Carter is a vocalist, artist, and experience-maker based in Dallas, Texas.

From 2013–2021, she performed more than 50 concerts at some of America's most distinguished cultural institutions — including the Smithsonian Institution, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts — as part of The Coverlets, an acclaimed music and art duo.

Now performing as BB Carter, she brings that same caliber of artistry into intimate spaces. Her sound is rooted in Americana and folk, shaped by the wind and grit of West Texas where she grew up — warm, unhurried, and grounded in original songwriting alongside carefully chosen standards. Whether performing in a private home, a museum gallery, or a concert venue, she creates the kind of experience where a room goes completely still and something true passes between a performer and the people listening.
